Hale Center Gin, LLC. was purchased in 2016 by brothers Lyle, Van, Mark and Hugh Miller and Van's son-in-law Andrew Francis. Their faith in Jesus Christ as the only begotten son of God is the foundation behind everything they do. Their faith directs how they have raised their families, operated their farms and is the fundamental guide to how the operate the cotton gin.
The gin at Hale Center was originally opened in 1937. When the gin was purchased by the current owners in 2016, it had not been run in 3 years. They set about formulating the best places to make upgrades, using their own cotton as the guinea pig. Now, after 3 years of owning and operating the gin, we are ready to fully extend our services to our friends and neighbors. We can handle round and square modules. We will tarp, haul, gin and help market your cotton. Our usual turn around time is less than 3 weeks. Coupled with timely ginning, we offer best turnout, best grades, computer controlled moisture levels and aggressive marketing. The lead ginner has 25 years experience working in a gin and has worked in this gin for 9 years.
The families that own the gin are farmers first. Their desire in purchasing the gin was to retain as much of the value of their cotton as possible. After 3 seasons of operating the gin, we beilieve we are able to offer those savings and efficiency to our neighbors. Hale Center Gin. LLC offers to maximize your return up front as opposed to paying dividend checks at a later time.
